Finding Arcadia

This is the second quest in the questline to get the Arcadian Ice to repair the Cloud Catcher. The player gets it automatically after completing Uncover Information in Inglenook quest.

Task 1: Activate Pillars to Find Arcadian Door

I need to craft some Fiery-Boom Water in order to light my way to Arcadia. Once crafted, I shall pour it on the pillar outside Inglenook.

Craft one Fiery-Boom Water using:

• 1xBrewer's Kit
• 1xClay Pot
• 2xWood
• 1xCoal
• 1xOil

You can get most of the ingredients from the banana tradesman here in Inglenook. You might want to progress in the quest A Little Color Goes a Long Way in order to learn the recipe for crafting Brewer's Kit since it is not sold anywhere.

After crafting the Fiery-Boom Water go outside and interact with the bird-shaped pillar near the entrance to Inglenook.

Task 2: Follow the Light

I poured the Fiery-Boom Water on the pillar. It raised to the sky and fire shot forth. Now to follow its path.

„

After interacting with the pillar it will raise and light up, with the light pointiing to the next pillar. Just follow the light interacting with each pillar until you reach the closed door on the northern peninsula. You will need to clear the Murk around one of the pillars with 6 sprites.

Interact with the last pillar, and the door will open.

Task 3: Enter Arcadia

I followed the pillars until they lead me to a giant door of ice. Once I used the last pillar, the fire near the door was lit so I could make my entry.

Open the door, go in and explore the cave. You will find the Arcadian Ice nested on an ice tree surrounded by ice shards and a sprite nearby. Talk to the sprite.

The sprite's name is Spike. They tell you it might be possible to get the ice if you make a big noise.

Task 4: Ring a Bell

“

In order to collect the Arcadian Ice, I need to find something that would make ones ears ring. Maybe a bell?

„

There is a bell in the cave hidden behind some ice. You can break the ice with your Mallet.

Interact with the bell and a cutscene will play. Return to Spike.

Interact with the tree and you will get the Arcadian Ice. Spike also joins you. This completes the quest. Now you can return to the Cloud Catcher and repair its filter.

Achievements

• Completing this quest for the first time unlocks Ice to meet you steam achievement.
